The maintenance-free and practically indestructible rubber suspension absorbs impacts and collisions, which markedly increases the lifetime of bearings, rings and the frame of the entire machine. It is also one of the secrets behind Väderstad’s renowned resistance to stones.
To change between transport and the field work position is strikingly simple and can be effected without the driver having to leave the tractor cab.
Based on a heavy duty stubble cultivator tine offering the ability to work directly into cultivated stubble, or to follow another primary cultivation machine such as heavy discs or plough.
Behind the tines, again hydraulically controlled, is the 'Crossboard' for levelling rough ground. Where surface trash levels are high this is raised out of use. The tines are controlled from the tractor cab and are capable of carrying and crushing huge volumes of heavy, cloddy soil.
The two rows of 730mm diameter press rings have a sharp outer edge to 'bust' open the clods. A 100mm shoulder limits the working depth of the ring on soft soil.
