”We have used minimum tillage in our farm for two years. The autumn tillage consists of one pass with a Carrier 420, one pass with a Cultus 420, and finally drilling with a Rapid 300C. The main advantage of minimum tillage is saving time. Fuel costs are reduced as well, but it obviously depends on the desired drilling depth. Another important advantage of reduced tillage is keeping moisture in the soil.”
