At Agritechnica 2019 Väderstad gives the farmers the opportunity to witness the all-new heavy-duty tine harrow NZ Extreme 1250-1425. This 12.5 to 14.25 metre machine will be Väderstads´ widest machinery for the European market to date.
- The heavy-duty tine harrow NZ Extreme 1250-1425 sets a new standard for field performance when it comes to seedbed preparation. Its innovative high-quality design brings capacity and agronomic solutions to the farm, Mattias Hovnert, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, at Väderstad.
The top-performance of NZ Extreme comes from carefully selected raw materials and new innovative design. This machine brings several new patented solutions to the farm industry - whereas the strong unique tine mounting is one of them.
- When designing the tines for the new heavy-duty harrow, we wanted to extend the limit of what was previously possible. The result is an intense vibrating tine action combined with an extreme stiffness and durability. The Extreme tine will crush clods, keep its exact depth and completely level the field, says Mattias Hovnert, at Väderstad.
To ensure exact field contour following precision NZ Extreme is built from a 5-section frame, able to adapt to the field surface and maintain the selected depth. This is further increased by an innovative weight transfer, ingenious wheel setup and heavy machine design.
After the world-premiere on Agritechnica 2019, a limited series of NZ Extreme machinery will be present in selected markets in 2020. These machines will face the long-life testing procedure that all Väderstad machines need to undergo before being fully introduced to the market.
After the final field testing is completed, the manufacturing of NZ Extreme 1250-1425 will start in 2021, with the ambition to be in full production during the end of the year.
