Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, drilling and planting, has once again won an award for our innovation Proceed. This time at UK’s biggest agricultural exhibition LAMMA 2023.
Proceed has been awarded a silver medal for the Arable Innovation Award at LAMMA, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham January 10-11.
– We are delighted to see that Proceed continue to get a lot of attention and recognition. Proceed is an innovation that we very strongly believe will have a big impact for many UK farmers in the years to come, says Andy Gamble, Sales & Marketing Manager at Vaderstad UK.
The silver medal at LAMMA is the latest in a long line of awards for Proceed, having won the Farm Machine award, previously known as Machine of the Year, both in 2022 and 2023. It also won double prizes at Agrosalon 2022 in Slovakia at the end of last year, as well as a silver medal at the French exhibition SIMA in November.
– Proceed is a technological leap for precision farming that can place a full range of seeds at the perfect depth with millimetre precision, enabling significant improvements in areas like yield levels, need for tillage, chemical treatment and the use of fertilisers, says Lars Thylén, Director Product Management Planters at Väderstad.
Right now, Proceed is undergoing field trials in many countries across Europe. You can follow the trials in Väderstad’s new documentary series “Fields” on YouTube and Vaderstad.com/Proceed.
