Today it was announced that the Proceed wins the award of Farm Machine 2022 in the seeders and planters category, previously known as “Machine of the year”.

The prize is awarded annually to prominent people who run and develop successful companies in a true entrepreneurial spirit.

welcomes both a new CEO and a new chairman of the board in February. Henrik
Gilstring, grandchild to Väderstad’s founder Rune Stark, takes over as new CEO after Mats Båverud. At the same time, Mikael Jonson steps into the role as new chairman of the board.

Crister Stark, part of Väderstad’s owner family and Innovation Manager at the company, is awarded the gold medal by The Royal Forest and Agricultural academy in Sweden, KSLA. His father, Väderstads’ founder Rune Stark, was also awarded a prize from KSLA back in 1993.

Proceed is a new seeding machinery category, where one single machine increases the yield potential of a full range of crops – such as wheat, barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet, peas, maize, sunflower, and many more.

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, is proud to announce the new cooperation with the German crop production system Nexat. Nexat, who was just awarded the gold innovation award by DLG, is based on an electrically driven carrier vehicle with a working width of up to 24 metres that can handle all steps of the working process for the farmer - and is prepared for complete autonomation.

Since its launch in 1991 Väderstad has sold almost 28 000 Rapid machines to farmers all over the world looking for a reliant machine suited to all possible conditions.
