In 2019, the world-record high-speed precision planter Väderstad Tempo L family is growing. Introducing the all-new Tempo L 8, as well as new configurations for Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 18.

Väderstad closes the 2018 financial year with record turnover and passes 300 million Euro for the first time in the company’s history.

To allow the farmer to take advantage of current technology for precision farming, Väderstad introduces new possibilities for the pneumatic Rapid seed drills. The seed drills are now able to apply a variable rate by communicating with third-party supplies of field-mapping services.

The pneumatic seed drill Väderstad Spirit 600-900C enters a new generation. With an updated design, new hydraulics and the innovative iPad-based control system Väderstad E-Control, the 6, 8 and 9 metre combi seed drill is ready for future farming.

Väderstad introduces the new Marathon 25/35 point, extending the performance of the tine harrows NZ Aggressive 500-1000 and NZ Mounted 500. The Marathon 25/35 point is characterized by an excellent ability to keep depth, as well as an extremely long working life in the field.

Väderstad introduces Augmented Reality (AR) to the farming industry. Using a smartphone or tablet farmers are able to experience farm machinery in a completely new way.

Väderstad introduces the new high-speed precision planter Tempo L 24. With a row spacing from 450 to 508mm, Tempo L 24 is the largest high-speed precision planter for sugar beet and oilseed rape to date.

The highly versatile disc cultivator Carrier L/XL in 4.25 to 6.25m working width, is available with the new packer option double SteelRunner. This further enhances the performance of the machine.

Väderstad closes the fiscal year of 2017 with good results and an increased turnover by 12 percent.

As an effect of a positive market development and strong outlook for the future, Väderstad AB are once again expanding the factory at the Swedish headquarters. The new building, measuring over 5 000 square metres, will accommodate the company´s greatest investment in manufacturing automation to date.
