Väderstad Group’s Policy for the Processing of Personal Data

Edition 2.0

At Väderstad, we care about the privacy and security of our customers, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders and constantly strive for a high level of data protection. Personal Data may be shared be-tween companies in the Väderstad Group in order for us to communicate and conduct our business. This document emphasises the importance of secure personal data management for companies within the Väderstad Group.

In addition to this policy, national laws and regulations in countries where Väderstad is operating may require that the processing of personal data is carried out in a manner other than that which is set out here. In such cases, subsidiaries and other entities are expected to act in accordance with the regulations applicable to their activities. Mandatory laws and regulations in places where Väderstad conducts its business must always be followed and shall take precedence in the event of conflict or deviation from this document. Personal data as referred to in this policy, is any information that may be directly or in-directly linked to an identified or identifiable living person.

Responsibility

Each national sales company within Väderstad Group is generally responsible for marketing, sales, per-sonnel and customer relations, in addition to market-specific services on each respective market. The national sales company is therefore also responsible for the processing of personal data, which is under-taken for these purposes. In markets which do not have a national sales company, an importer will usu-ally have the same responsibility as a national sales company and adopts the responsibility for personal data for these purposes.

Should personal data is shared with other parties, for example partners and suppliers, the Väderstad Group companies shall ensure that this is being done in accordance with the laws and regulations to which the company is subject and that the rights and integrity of individuals are protected.

At Väderstad we work to the following guidelines:

  • Not collect any other data than what is required for the purpose
  • Only process personal data where this is allowed
  • Ensure that personal data is accurate and kept up-to-date
  • Inform the individual whose data is being collected
  • Personal data shall only be retained for as long as is necessary for its stated purpose or as required by law, or for any other legitimate purpose
  • Personal data may only be processed if such this is carried out in a secure and protected manner
