Achieve the best crop performance with the Fenix III metering technology for exceptionally precise seeding. Deliver the exact volume of product needed to create the optimal plant stand in your field.
Several models in our Precision Delivery Air Cart family can be equipped with dual tyres to reduce soil compaction, improving root growth, soil aeration, and plant nutrient uptake.
Maximise field utilisation and minimise nutrient loss with precise sectional control and variable rate application. This optimises plant nutrient uptake and reduces environmental impact.
Seeding sets the foundation for crop performance throughout the year. It’s crucial to choose a seeding system that not only produces high-quality crops but also performs reliably under all weather conditions. Give your crop the best chance to succeed while reducing risks at the same time.
High-yielding, high-quality crops are characterised by their ability to utilise inputs to their full potential. Precision metering ensures uniform delivery of products, resulting in evenly spaced plants in the seed row that have access to the desired rate of nutrients throughout the growing season. By reducing inter-plant competition and providing nutrient consistency, the outcome is an evenly maturing plant stand across the entire field, maximising return on investment.

Successful crop establishment relies on the ability of plant roots to grow and develop throughout the soil profile. Compaction layers in the soil hinder this growth by impeding root development, reducing soil aeration, and restricting nutrient mobility. It is crucial to ensure that the weight of equipment is distributed over as wide an area as possible to minimise the potential for compaction, especially in heavy, wet soil conditions that may be present during seeding.
Reducing the overlap of a seed drill pass minimises the over-application of nutrients, leading to fewer emissions, reduced leaching potential, and more efficient plant growth. Additionally, nutrient requirements can vary significantly across a field and along the length of a toolbar in highly variable soils. Product metering for every ten-foot section of the drill allows for greater optimisation of prescription mapping, ensuring the correct amount of nutrients is applied where needed.
With their extreme capacity, Väderstad’s Precision Delivery Air Carts are designed to give you more time seeding and less time refilling. Offered in five sizes (400, 680, 820, 1000, and 1350), these carts have a total capacity ranging from 360 to 1350 bushels (12,685 to 47,572 litres). Now featuring Väderstad’s newest and largest air seeder, the PD1350 extends time between refills and maximises uptime in the field.
The PD 400 comes factory standard as a three-bin, 360-bushel tank. To increase capacity, customers can order the PD 400 with an optional 1410 l front bin to increase the capacity to 14095 l.
The PD 680 offers the size and flexibility to keep your operation moving with the same technology found on larger Precision Delivery Air Carts.
The PD 820 allows you to get through the day with fewer fills so you can seed more acres with precision.
The PD 1000 combines capacity, flexibility and accuracy – and is one of Väderstad's largest air carts.
The PD 1350 combines capacity, flexibility, and accuracy – and is Väderstad’s largest air cart.

The PD 1350 Air Cart is loaded with Vaderstad’s premier technologies, including iCon wireless control system, the Fenix III metering system, section, and variable rate capabilities. It’s the perfect fit for any operation looking to spend more time seeding and less time refilling.
Achieving maximum productivity means making it easy to do simple things. From augers and conveyors to bag lifts, filling your cart is optimised so you can get the air cart full and back into the field, over and over again without difficulty.
The simple design of the Precision Delivery Air Carts allows you to spend less time in the yard and more time in the field. Easy to fill, easy to adjust and easy to clean out. Optional fill systems include conveyors, augers, bag lifts, and fill chutes.

The Fill System Remote for the PD 680, PD 820, PD 100 and PD 1350 Air Carts allows for wide functionality including belt speed controls, while displaying real-time load cell values for each bin.
Conveyor arm mount and swivel on the 820, 1000, and 1350 Air Carts increase the range of motion. This allows the conveyor to reach under bins 1, 2, and 3 for easy unloading. Conveyor capacity has also been increased to 80-85 bu/min, depending on the product type.
The bag lift allows 10 bags of canola to be lifted from the ground to the front tank, avoiding unnecessary strain of carrying individual bags.

Stopping to guess how much product you have left in the tank is a thing of the past. The modular tank design of Precision Delivery Air Carts features individual compartment load cells.
The load cells weigh each bin separately and provide real-time verification of remaining product. The iCon Wireless Control software uses the innovative Acres to Empty feature to calculate how many acres it will cover. This ensures more efficient filling times and allows you to pinpoint your required fill volume.
The iPad-based iCon wireless control system delivers complete and easy wireless control of your Precision Delivery Air Cart and Seed Hawk Air Drill, even when you are not in the cab.
With a wide range of innovative features like Acres to Empty, In-field Calibration, and Fit to Field, the iCon Wireless Control system provides you with more detailed real-time information, more automation, more customisable data, and optimised prescription mapping.

Farming’s most advanced metering technology is engineered for exceptionally precise seeding, reliable performance and easy maintenance.
Integrated, seamless design defines the Fenix III metering system, ensuring consistent product flow. It means the motor, rollers, housing, inlets and outlets work together flawlessly – and handle products like inoculants, micronutrients and problematic seeds with ease.
Sectional control, combined with an independent GPS system, eliminates overlap, saves input costs, and reduces ground disturbance. It controls meters and openers to stop product flow and lift openers on previously seeded ground, preserving precision placement.
SCTx with Turn Compensation features an additional GPS receiver on the tractor for enhanced capabilities. This allows for more complex manoeuvres and precise control of air drill operations.
The amount of fertiliser and seed required to achieve desired yield will vary across the field and, most times, over the width of the toolbar. Seed Hawk’s iCon system is compatible with industry leading prescription mapping to dial in the exact amount of product desired, reducing the amount of inputs used. Each 10 feet of toolbar has its own seed and fertiliser meter to ensure greater accuracy in variable terrain.
All Precision Delivery Air Carts come outfitted with light kits with two controllable functions.
Field lights: Perimeter lighting rearward of the cart in both TBH and TBT, as well as adjustable front mounted light for air drill in TBH configurations.
Task/Service lights: Catwalk/landing, internal bin, meter motor lighting.
